Reading Time: 2 minutes

Welcome to year 2021!!!!! Our year of having the right money habits!

We are all expecting huge things to happen for us this year. Blessings have been said and Amen chorused.

BUT HERE ARE TWO THINGS: The plans you have set needs money to be actualized.

Your money habits will play an important part in how far you go this year.

Therefore, It’s safe to say that HABITS are a big part of your 2021.

Today we are sharing money habits that will help you start the year right:

KNOW YOUR FINANCIAL WHY

Why do you want to make money? How much money can aid your goals this year? Defining these things becomes your motivation to make your money work extra hard for you.

DEFINE YOUR MONEY GOALS

Do you have financial targets you need to meet? Are your financial goals for the new year SMARTER (Smart, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Timely, Evaluable, and Readjust able). Defining your financial goals and what you need to attain them is an important habit you need for the year.

REVIEW YOUR MONEY STRATEGIES

Setting goals are the first step, not the only one. After setting your financial goals and taking daily steps to achieve them, you need to review your strategies: Are they working? Do you need to do anything differently? With how you are doing now, how long will it take to get your goals done? Reviewing your strategies should be done as often as possible.

TRACK YOUR MONEY PROGRESS

To track your progress, ask questions like: How well have I done so far? What needs to change? How can I do better?

NEVER STOP LEARNING

One important thing to go into the year with is to commit to learning something in an area you want to be better at daily. If you want your finances to do better, never stop learning about finances.
